Park Hood were engaged to provide general concept ideas for the Landscape Design treatments and upgrade of the perimeter treatments of Victoria Square which resulted with a first phase completed during Spring of 2014.
This first phase was to provide a new vibrant canopy structure and associated seating to encourage and stimulate pedestrian footfall into the centre. The structure is well lit at nightime and has proved very successful as a well recognised land mark focus at the Ann Street entrance to the shopping centre. We produced numerous concept options using 3D computer generated sketches for client approval before submitting an application for Planning Approval and building control. Following approval we developed the concept design to a full production information and tender package for a contractor tendering process and inspected the works through to completion on site.
