No. 1 Charlottenburg is in an exceptional location, by the River Spree and the Tiergarten, at the heart of Charlottenburg, Berlin.
Park Hood were engaged as the Landscape architects for this prestigious scheme in Berlin.
The landscape was designed to allow the 10 Apartments to seamlessly integrate into the riverside location. The landscape strategy defines the threshold between semi-private, private and publicly accessible spaces through the use of planted berms, pebble-lined gardens leading to the River, granite lined paths and narrow walkways that combine to create a strong sense of identity for the site. Off the main walkway, the elegant and peaceful smaller landscaped gardens —provide opportunities for residents to engage with nature and escape from city life.
