After the completion of the new central library building which is situated next to the botanic garden, the Queen’s University Campus aims to create a new pedestrian link connecting the
Elmwood Hall at the University Avenue, the Lanyon Building, Whitla Hall, the Physics Buildings and the new Library with and the Eastern Part of the Queen’s Quarter.

Park-Hood has been appointed as lead design consultant and is currently developing the overall masterplan for a series of open spaces which are connected by 500m long pedestrian spine.The design comprises 3 major squares, an inclined walkway anda way finding strategy.

Park-Hood will also carry out the detail design work of the phase 1 area from conception through to completion.
